Special Constables and Probationers Personal Safety Top-Up Training

Why do you need additional training and why should we be the ones to train you?

Over the years we have been asked by many serving Special Constables and Police Officers to provide training for them to increase their confidence and expertise, we have, until now, declined because we felt it was the province of the police service. However, with it being generally accepted that many areas of police training are to be supplied by private companies we feel confident that we can provide credible personal safety training to individuals without conflicting with the police service..

Nothing we train will conflict with the ACPO guidelines. All our trainers are retired Police Officers who have spent their Police careers in front line, day to day duties as well as going on to specialise in the various roles that the Police Service offers – especially Officer Safety.

You will know that most of us are not confident if we have not had the opportunity to practice and become comfortable with our own capabilities. By buying into our training you will be able to deal with incidents in a confident and professional manner. We offer top-up training in conflict resolution, physical defensive tactics, restraint holds, handcuffs, batons and the use of defensive spray.

On our course you will get time to practice, through repetition and realistic scenarios, everything that you need ,so that when the pressure is on in the real world you wont have to think about what, or how, you should react, you will just react – in a legal and professional manner. It is those few seconds that can be the difference between you being the victim or you performing your duty professionally.
